TRAK’s Model 8836 series Tactical GPS time and frequency system integrates a ground-based GPS receiver module (GB-GRAM), a rubidium oscillator, time and frequency signal generation, and control/status circuitry in a compact, ruggedized enclosure. This system is suited for ruggedized military applications where Size Weight and Power (SWaP) is critical.
The standard unit contains a rubidium oscillator and a low phase noise cleanup oscillator meeting the frequency stability and phase noise requirements of military SATCOM system. Outputs include 1PPS, 10 MHz, fiber optic IRIG-B for time transfer to NIPRNET and SIPRNET, NTP Server and three serial interfaces providing Position, Navigation and Time (PNT) from the GPS receiver.
Remote configuration and monitoring is available through Ethernet and RS-232. Ethernet configuration is provided through HTML web interface and remote monitoring through SNMP with an enterprise MIB as well as well as through Telnet or SSH using the Command Line interface. The RS-232 configuration monitoring and control is provided through Command Line interface.
